Pictures from San Francisco

We stopped off in SF for a few days to visit with our friend Angelo before heading off to Hawaii. The weather was absolutely fantastic. Angelo is the culinary master so we had plenty of great food to eat. He also gave Erynn her best dining experience ever and probably my worst: "the best little sushi place in CA."

Here's Angelo and Erynn posing for a quick picture in the Presidio with a nice view behind them. Hey! Watch your hands Ang.

When in San Francisco one has to visit the Golden Gate Bridge. On this aprticular day the weather couldn't have been better although it was a bit windy. I presume other bridges are cooler technically, but you really can't beat the scenery!

Here's yet another SF postcard moment. I think every photo essay concerning SF includes a shot of these seven old houses on a hill. Very quaint, but after living in England for a couple years, images like this are "cheap as chips." Also, here is a picture of the intrepid Angelo on his phone trying to pay the bills while Erynn and I were busy taken pictures.

Some pictures from Alcatraz Island

On one of our days we drove up to Sonoma Valley in the wine country for a bit of tasting. Once again, the weather didn't disappoint and it was a beautiful day. This particular photo is of the Sonoma City Hall.
